With some testing and searching for these errors, here I will tell you how to solve them.

Before we go on, here I used Proteus 8.10 Version. Maybe this can be applied to previous or later versions.

To fix this Error, follow this steps:

  • Right-click on the Proteus Icon/Shortcut
  • Click Properties
  • Click the Compatibility menu
  • In the Compatibility mode section, check the “Run this program in compatibility mode for” checklist
  • Select Windows XP (Service Pack 3)
  • Click Apply

Then please reopen the Proteus Software, then create a new project. You will not see the error.
