Arduino Port Not Found Or Not Detected. NodeMCU Too.
Fix Arduino Port Not Found USB Serial CH340 Driver – Are you just started using Arduino Uno and when you want to upload a program, the Arduino port is not found? Why is the Arduino Uno port not detected by the Arduino IDE?
In the market there are types of Arduino. Most Arduino with made in China use the CH340 chip as a USB Bus Converter.
Likewise ESP8266 NodeMCU V3, which uses the ESP8266 chip as its microcontroller, some models also use USB Serial CH340.
How to Fix Arduino/NodeMCU Port Not Found On Windows?
If you checking in Device Manager, it turns out that Arduino or ESP8266 NodeMCU requires a USB2.0-Serial driver.
Download Driver CH340
To solve the Arduino Uno port is not detected, please install CH340 Driver. You can download it by clicking the link below.
After the download is complete, you can install it in the following way:
Open File
Open Rar File, click CH341SER folder
Install the File
Click SETUP.EXE
Click INSTALL
Wait a moment until a successful pop-up appears
After the installation is complete, please connect the Arduino Boaard or NodeMCU V3 to your computer / PC and open the Device Manager to see if the port is active. In Figure below it can be seen that the port is active.
Disconnect the Arduino Board USB, then reconnect it. At this point you have been able to upload your program code to the Arduino Board/NodeMCU ESP8266 using the Arduino IDE.
If the above method also doesn’t work, repeat from step 2 and run the program SETUP.EXE run as Administrator.
If it still doesn’t work, repeat from step 3 and click UNINSTALL, then click
INSTALL.
